Sycing problem, please help.

i don't know if this is a bug or if its something I'm doing incorrectly but whenever i change the song details or album cover art for songs on my iPhone (i manually manage my iphone music and have had no problems with it unitl ios 5) it doesn't immediately change on the iPhone for some reason like it used to on ios 4


some changes do occur but for others they're still unchanged on my iPhone, any help here?

when i check the music tab of my iphone in itunes it shows the updates i made but it hasnt actually updated on my iphone

is there some sort of real time lag?
