Sync 2 iPhones to iTunes, but with different apps

Hi Group:

I've got an iPhone 4 with all the apps I have sync'ed to it. Can I also sync my old iPhone 3 on the same MBP, but only have certain (as in not all) apps on it? I'm worried that if I delete apps from the iPhone 3, they'll also be deleted from the iPhone 4 during its next sync. Thanks in advance.

sure can. Just make sure the boxed isn't checked for "sync all new apps" and you can have many iphones synced to your one itunes account.
