i recently bought a 32 gb USB flash drive, so i have a large chunk of my music with me in my car. (which support usb drives)

mac formatted ipods don't work so that's out of the question and i won't go through the hell that is pc formatting.

so, instead of making adjustments on the USB stick everytime i get a new song/album, can't i just sync the USB stick to my music folder? (iTunes Music)

thanks in advance

You could use a program like Sync2Folders. http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/30727 since iTunes won't physically sync the flash drive.

Out of curiosity, why won't a mac formatted ipod work in your car? That doesn't make any sense...Formatting should have nothing to do with how the iPod interfaces with the vehicle unless it runs some sort of windows mobile platform.

Also, if a Mac formatted iPod won't work, then it sounds like you may have to format your 32gb flash drive to PC (MS/DOS FAT32) with disk utility and that you have no other option.

you hit the head on the nail.
The build-in bluetooth media system runs on Windows mobile.

huge bummer!
