Sync AND Stream movies?

Hi All,

Is it possible for me to set up my AppleTV to sync just some of my movies and stream my other movie content? If so - how do I do that? I'm running Take2 on my AppleTV.

You will find a screenshot. But basically as long as iTunes is running and the Mac/PC is not put to sleep you can access all your movies and music all the time w/o having to sync any of it. Just sync Photos.

I have the same question. Can I have certain movies and TV shows synced
so that my kids can watch them without the Mac online and also stream
once the Mac is online? If there is a movie that is both synced and
streamed, which is used?

You can choose what movies to sync but then if the Mac is online everything else shows up too. If you want it truly separate. Then you have to check the option on the summary tab - see screenshot in other thread - to have only sync'd content show, and then set the mac as a streaming computer too. But to see that content you will have to switch back and forth between sources in the Apple TV menus.
