Sync button on toolbar w/ Lion.

The other day I finally used Address Book for the first time and sync it with my Gmail account. Since then I have a Sync button in the tool bar that won't go away. I have stop the use of AB and unchecked the box to have it sync with Gmail. Still the Sync button remains. What gives? How do I get rid of this? Thanks in advance.

Hold down the command key and you can drag it off.
