I am using ML on my iMac and would like to sync the Contacts to Google Contacts. Can someone tell me the procedure/steps to accomplish it. Thanks!

Open Contacts then go to the Contacts menu at the top left and select Preferences. Click on the account tab like in my screenshot and check the "Synchronize with Google" box. You will be prompted for your Google (Gmail) login info.

Before you do this go to the File menu and export all your contacts as a backup in case something goes wrong.

Thanks for your good advice and I made it successfully.

The synch is automatic or manual. If automatic, how often it will do the sync normally.

Apart from my desktop iMac, I also have a MBA. If I do the same, I can edit the Contacts on either iMac, MBA or Google Contacts and will update all machines?

I don't use this any longer as I have moved to iCloud, but as I recall it would sync whenever a change was made and it was automatic.

It will sync both machines when you do edits.

Glad it worked out.
