Sync deleted downloaded books in ibooks

Today I downloaded about 70 books from iBooks bookstore. Most of them were Kaplan free books. Then I synced with my pc. But after that only 19 books remained in my library. The purchased tab in iBook store still shows all the 70 books with redownload option. Why did it get deleted from the library.
Is there any limit in no of books in library.
Or is there a limit in size of books -320mb reduced to180mb after sync?
Bug?
