sync docs between Mac(s) and PC over net?

seeking advice: for a prescribed set of files (say a document folder) I would like to be able to have locally cached versions of these files on both a mac and a PC and have changes to these files synchronized across all platforms. Assume all platforms are connected to internet most of the time, at least one permanently.

anything out there?

two possible answers, using a .Mac account with iDisk and sync and FolderShare (www.foldershare.com); anyone have experience using either of these?
