iPod touch Sync from ipod touch to new computer

[Yikes!!]

Our Mac computer died and we have been told that all data is unrecoverable. The good news is we have a Time Capsule, the bad news is apparently it was not working either. The good news is our contacts, calendars, photos and music were recently synced on my ipod touch. Now that we've replaced the hard drive in the Mac, how can I transfer the information from the ipod touch to the computer without wiping the touch. I can not even begin to tell you how important these pictures and contacts are and I am fearful that with the transfer I may loose them all.
