Sync googledocs with openoffice

I am hoping to find something like ooo2gd that works with openoffice in 10.6. I basically want to be able to access updated google docs quickly from the dock rather than using a browser and logging into the account, etc. I love how my ical works so well with the google calendar we use for work, and wish there was something similar for some of the spreadsheets we work with on gdocs.
