Sync iCal and Address Books between two macs?

Here's my problem: I have iCal and Address Book on my iBook and on my G5. I use my iBook on the go, and my G5 at home--so my calendar never matches between the two. Short of paying for .Mac, is there any way I can sync iCal and Address Book over my network?

I have seen a program that I think is called synciCal that will allow you to do iCal over a network, but I don't recall one for the Address Book.
