This might be a silly question. I created an album on my iPhone 5S (current OS). I'm trying to sync that album onto my iPhoto on my MBP. All of the photos are on the MPB, but I don't want to have to track them all down and re-create the album. It seems odd, but I can't figure out how to do this. (Albums I create on the MPB are sync'd and updated on the iPhone.)

When I connect my phone to iTunes, the album does not appear under the "Photos" tab.

The iTunes "sync" feature for photos is essentially one way. It will move photos from the computer to the phone but not the other way. To move them the other way, iTunes is not involved: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083
I don't think there is a way to move anything from the phone other than the original Camera Roll photos.
