I just bought the iPhone 5s and will be upgrading from my 4S as soon as I get it fully backed up. I've been syncing my 4S to my ancient MacBook with a massive custom-installed 500GB hard drive and all of my iTunes music, but I'd like to sync my 5s with my newer 128GB MacBook Air.

I've searched for this online but most people are simply upgrading their computer and want to bring over their iTunes library to the new computer. In my case, my 128GB MacBook Air doesn't have enough room for all of my music and photos, so I don't want to transfer my 500GB MacBook's iTunes library, but rather just start syncing my iPhone with my MacBook Air. I'd like to keep my photos, texts, and apps (including app data) on my iPhone but I don't really care about my music.

It looks like restoring from an iCloud Backup is a good idea, but I'm wondering how much of my app data it would actually transfer over. Here's a screenshot of the storage used by my apps and a screenshot of my data being synced to the cloud—the minority of my apps/data.

Any help is appreciated—thanks!
