Sync iTunes Libraries Across Computers using Dropbox

Hi, I was just wondering whether anyone does this and whether it is possible. I want to store my iTunes library in Dropbox, so that any changes I make in iTunes on one machine is replicated on the other.

I would also like to be able to sync music to my iPhone on either machine.

I've found this fairly old guide from 2010, but not sure whether this method would still work. Can anyone confirm? http://lifehacker.com/5715126/how-to-sync-itunes-across-all-your-computers-with-dropbox
