Sync iTunes without backing up?

I need to sync more photos to my phone, but I don’t have the HD space for a backup. Each time I go to sync, it tries to backup first and then make changes to my photo folders. How can I simply do a sync and not backup?

I don’t believe that can be done with iTunes, unless there is a terminal command that could work.
