Sync my Folders

Is there a free application available for OSX that allows one to create auto-syncing folders (much like a Windows briefcase)?

I have a media folder on my blackbook hard drive that holds all my music, recorder TV shows, videos and photos. This one is continuously being changed (add/delete, rename, edit, etc).

I want to have the ability to have some sort of auto-syncing method set up so that this folder syncs to my external hard drive when I connect it…. In addition to my usual Time Machine Backups.

Duff-Man says....try doing a simple search of this forum for "sync folder" or something similar and you'll get lots of hits that should answer your question....oh yeah!

ChronoSync works well

I use ChronoSync which works really well. Simply set up the folders on source and destination and how you want each side to react upon conflict.
Then click Add to Schedule and you can have it sync every hour/day/week if you like.
