Can anyone tell me what this button is? I have looked all over the place and cannot figure it out. Also, how would I get rid of it?

MobileMe sync. I think you can get rid of it through SystemPreferences -> MobileMe

I remember that shift or option or control clicking and dragging that icon off my toolbar made it disappear.
