Sync on different computers

Hello all

I had initially synced my phone with my pc and had all my music and books on my phone. Then I synced on my Mac turning off iCloud sync. It removed my music and books. So if I leave iCloud enabled for sync can I sync on different PCs or do I have to choose one or the other?
