Sync pics

I have a folder with 7 subfolders inside it, some of the folders include pics and vids. I select the folder with the subfolders in it and sync the photos to my phone, except that's not what happens, some folders sync some don't. A folder might sync, but only the pics will sync not the videos inside the folder. Help thanks. ios7
