iPod touch Sync problem. (-39)

I've been having trouble getting my Itouch to sync, I keep getting this message when I try to sync the photos.

"The Ipod "ipod" cannot be synced. An unknown error occured (-39)

Any suggestions on what to do?

Plus some songs now wont play. It starts to play, then it just cuts out and goes to the next song
