iPod Sync problem

Last night, I plugged in my 5G iPod so it would have the episodes of The Office that I never got around to syncing. When I plugged it in, it synced all of the songs, then told me that it couldn't transfer any of the episodes, nor any of the movies that I already had on the iPod, because they weren't in a supported format. What gives?

If it makes a difference, I did an archive & install last Friday.
