sync seperate iPhones with same iTunes settings?

so I already have my current iPhone with all its settings for Apps, Music, Video etc.

But is there any way to sync another with identical settings, short of going and manually changing everything?

You will need to backup the phone you wish to copy. Then plug in the other phone, click restore in iTunes (this will erase the iPhone). Once that is done, it should ask you to either 1) set up as a new phone, or 2) restore from a previous backup.

You choose #2.

Ah, I thought you had that idea in mind. As far as I know, you can only duplicate settings when you do a full restore. So it will be a lengthy procedure that you could technically achieve overnight without loss of phone usage.

feared as much. But it'll be less work gradually making small changes than it would be to sit around correcting every single thing right now.
