Sync Services/iSync

I use Outlook 2011 for Contacts and have to import them into Address Book to get them on my iPod & iPad. I just established a new login for my husband and notice on his "side" — while going through Outlook Preferences — that the Sync Services tab brings up the option to check contacts, notes, etc. to sync. My "side" does not show those options and I'm the one who needs them! Clicking the SyncServicesAgent app does nothing. Documentation on the Web says to use iSync.app in my Applications folder. I run Lion, but don't have such an app.

Any advice from anyone?
