Sync Site folder on MAcBook and iMac

When I bought my Mac Book and 1st turned it on it asked me if I wanted to sync with my iMac, well I tried but it went on for a very long time and so I just stopped it and went on to using my Macbook.

Now I am going on vacation and need to take all my Site files with me. How do I go about syncing My site folder on my MacBook with the one on my iMac?
 
So I guess my only option is to copy all 3gigs to an ext drive and then move to mac book and then vise versa when I get back home?:confused:
 
There are many utilities that will do what you want.

I use "File Synchronization" (shareware) to keep folders and files synchronized between my macs.
