Neither StackExchange nor Google groups could help. I did not even get a single answer on these sites, so lets see how you guys compare:
I set up CardDav and CalDav on my iPhone 4s and iPad 2 both running the latest iOS version (6.x). The accounts are verified and a connection using SSL is established. New entries, be it contacts or events, sync almost instantly and it works both ways. Old entries however, are not synced. Not even a single one. Interestingly enough, I don't know whether this is supposed to be like that or not. Google does not have any easy to digest info on both protocols that help me answer that question.
I would ask this on apple forums but I cant log in due to the usual old username/new apple ID conundrum that apparently cant be solved in a lot of cases so ******* this sh**.
Just for the fun:
I get this error when logging in "Please sign in again. For added security, we need to reconfirm your Apple ID. " It redirects me to applid website where I am suppposed to log into account management and then it says "An error occurred". Most people with this problem are asked to create a new username, for me however, it's just another cryptic error. Now remember, this is basically OT.
