iPod touch sync touch game from itunes to touch

My son has bought and downloaded Tap Tap from itunes we can see that it exists but when we try to sync it with the touch it does not move over. help!
 
Did you tell itunes to sync all applications? Click on the ipd and then the applications tab. Make sure you have the application in question checked
