sync using rsync music from nas > iphone?

Hi

I've just Jailbroken my iphone, ssh is setup etc.

I want to sync my Music from my NAS to my iphone on a regular basis as I add Podcasts, audiobooks etc. I my past I have used rsync to do this on other phones.

Is this easy to do or is the iphone filesystem not viable for this option?
