Thought I would share this yawl. The link is from From Cult of Mac and provides a detailed look how to Sync Lightroom to Dropbox. I tested it and it works great.

Surely this method is quite costly?

I have a fairly large 25GB free dropbox but that certainly isn't enough to put a dent in my 250GB lightroom files plus the 300GB from 2011/2012.

The article describes syncing the library, not the actual image files.

It's actually pretty funny. The author suggests saving your image files to an external HDD -- which is the same place you can save the library, making it kind of pointless. (though another option is to rely on the editable previews coming up in LR5)
