Sync'd iPad but iTunes not showing the backup

I was attempting to install iOS 5 on my iPad tonight. I sync'd the iPad in iTunes before any of the attempts.

Well, attempts failed so I was forced to restore. Now iTunes is only offering me a iPad backup dated April of this year.

What happened to the info I sync'd in iTunes tonight?
