Synching photos from my email to iPhoto?

I have some photos that I saved from my email into my Camera Roll and now I want to synch them to iPhoto. I have been able to synch photos taken with my camera to iPhoto before, though for some reason I do not see the photos I downloaded from my email in my 4S in iPhoto after synching.

What do I need to do?

You need to save the photos. They won't go there directly from your email.

I did save them from my email and they show up in my Camera Roll. The problem is, I can't get them to synch from my 4S to iPhoto. How do I do that?
