Hi,

Our family has just about completely migrated over to Macs and it is so nice to have a computer that just works. I can do remote assistance via iChat that works without a hitch and no virus. My question is, how can I synchronize a user profile between two Macs? My father splits his time between two homes. We got him a 17" MacBook Pro but he has decided that he doesn't want to travel with it. In hindsight we should have gotten an iMac, but oh well.

In any case, he wants to get another Mac for his other home. Is there an easy way to synchronize two Macs so that all his files transfer from one Mac to the other including his bookmarks and e-mail? I have tried to get him to use Yahoo Mail or Gmail, but that hasn't worked. Can I copy his user profile to a portable hard drive and copy it to another mac and have everything appear?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Neil
