I have had a iMac for around 3 months and I am so happy with it I wish to purchase a Mac Book to compliment it.

Without delving into the forums, is it possible to sync the Mac Book with my iMac and if so how easy is it to do.

I am on the verge of buying one but it would be a whole lot easier of my files were readily available in both machines.

Any advice much appreciated.

If you can buy it from Apple Store, they'll move all your files to new Mac. Or just use ethernet cable or wireless network and just copy your files to your Mac

I don't think that's what OP meant - I think they were referring to syncing the 2 machines and have them read the same files at once (not transfer from one to the other), something like MobileMe but for the whole computer.

Yes, that's what I meant. My main machine will be the iMac. Any work I do on the MBP would need to be synced and vica versa. Is there anything that could do this by simply connecting them together somehow ?
