Syncing 2 iPhones

If I back up 2 more iPhones in iTunes under different iTunes accounts the contacts shouldn't get mixed up correct?

Long ago when 3.01 was released I had my phone and my dad's phone synced with different accounts and for some reason we got eachothers contacts...

not if you set it up as a new iphone.

if you backup from one of the others, then yet.

Additionally, on the iphone tabs you can chose what you want to sync. if you want certain contacts...click them! its pretty easy.

Under info it just says sync all contacts, there is no way to create a group or select group.

Want to make sure I get this right before I sync'd our phones. I setup 2 user account for 2 iPhone 3G's so we can back up contacts before the iPhone 4's get here.

I can also use 1 iTunes account for the 2 user accounts just for the apps right?

I want to make sure all phones get backed up separately so our contacts don't get mixed up on one computer or get deleted!
