Over the last year I’m finding read message getting unread notifications across my deceives. And at times a contact‘s number will show up instead of their name. And don’t get me started on deleted messages still showing up on the Watch and visa versa. It’s like the standards in Apple have dropped under Cook and the teams he has in place are just not up to the high standards Jobs had.

Yes same. Been like this for a number of releases now.

I don't necessarily buy into the usual Jobs versus Cook rhetoric. I think there is a load of ******** behind that. But without question Apple's attention to detail and quality control has, indisputably, dropped massively. Their mantra of it just works hasn't applied for a while and you may have noticed they never say that anymore either.

The bugs that still remain in their software from a number of years ago is inexcusable. And I say it again, their quality control and attention to detail has dropped through the floor.

Just because you're having some bugs doesn't mean the entire standards of Apple have dropped. I don't have these specific bugs but I've experienced others.

Apple had issues under Jobs as well. Everyone looks at the past with rose colored glasses but it's not like software bugs, annoying "features" and terrible product decisions didn't exist back then.
