Syncing address book.

I don't really have my contacts organized very well anywhere and I'm planning on using my iphone to rectify that. My question is, if I make all the changes on my iphone, will my Yahoo address book change to match it, or does it only work the other way (iPhone contacts update to match what's already in Yahoo)?
