So I'm a former PC guying trying to adjust to my new Macbook. I've got my backbook connected to my IBM monitor and I managed to get a screen up on the monitor by using mirror displays. But the monitor looks almost like a non-HD tv on an HD channel. There's black space on the sides, so you have to use the trackpad to essentially scroll horizontally on each screen, which is pain.

Is this a resolution issue, or is there some way to change this?

Thanks?
