I have a new iMac arriving soon, and I also have an MBP. How can I have these computers sync? Most importantly, I'd like Mail to sync, but also having files and safari sync would be good. Anybody know how to do this sort of stuff?

Are you talking about one time sync, or do you want to sync periodically?

If you're need one time sync, then look no further than Migration Assistant.

Thanks for the replies. Yeah, a periodical sync, probably each day. I'll need to have a look at them and think through what I actually want. And I noticed they're all like $40+.. was hoping there'd be some built-in Mac solution.

iCloud will sync mail, safari bookmarks and some documents.

Maybe it's time for me to get into the Cloud, I'll have a look at that. I'm guessing it also does iCal, I figure that'd be pretty obvious.

EDIT: Just had a very brief look, I think this'll the the solution. Though it means fully moving over to Lion.. time to have a proper look at it. I've gotten a free license for it, but... just not sold yet.
