I've tried searching and haven't found a good answer to my problem, even though I know it's been asked 100 times before.

I just tried to sync my contacts from my 3G iPhone to my computer so that I can sync them onto my 3GS when it comes in. After I synced it, all of my contacts were gone from my phone and weren't on my computer.. I have no idea how this happened, but I'm now restoring from a backup made in March because the most recent auto-backup is so conveniently corrupt and won't restore to my phone.

So how do I sync my contacts from my iPhone 3G to my address book? In my address book right now is all of my iChat contacts, because I renamed all of my iChat buddies screen names to their real life names, which creates and address book contact for each screen name.

Thanks in advance!
