Just wondered if anyone could help me, At some point i will be upgrading to the new iPhone but wondered what will happen with the contacts i currently have, when i plug my iPhone into iTunes now it doesnt show any address book (im using Vista) and wondered if this is right, or is it going to be a case of just having to manually transfer the numbers, e mail addresses etc??

You have to sync it with your computer.
I know you can sync contacts on a PC with Outlook or Yahoo Address Book. It'll be under the iPhone preferences in iTunes.

Ok so I have managed to get itunes to find windows contacts, (which i never use) so as It stands all my details are on my iphone and none in windows contacts, If i click sync will it put my contact from the phone into contacts, or will it clear my iphone contacts and replace them with whats in windows contacts (meaning nothing)?

iphone will copy contacts to windows contacts - not delete them
