The thick of it
I must be missing something, but when I sync my iPad now the option for home movies is nowhere to be found. I tried dragging and dropping movies into the Finder sync window, but nothing happened (even though it showed the green plus sign next to the file). All of my home movies are still in their original iTunes folder on my Mac. All of my videos purchased from Apple show up. But none of the home movies. What am I missing?

I spent over an hour on the phone with Apple Support today and finally found the solution: all "Home Videos" are now synced through the TV app. Drag your content into that app and a new Home Videos selection is created, and then your iDevices can see them. All video content is then placed into the Movies tab. Interestingly, you can drag any video into the Music app, and a new "Music Videos" selection will be created. But those apparently don't sync.
