syncing iMessages in iCloud?

I noticed a new "Messages" entry for the Documents section of iCloud preferences. Does this mean we can now sync our entire imessages history via iCloud?

I would guess that it's more of a way to enable iMessage/Messages with your Apple ID, keeping it all in one place.

Would be nice though for all Messaging to stay synced and visible in iCloud.
