syncing iphone and mac

is there a beginners guide/tutorial for how to make the most of using my iphone and mac collaboratively? I have a mobile me account I got to host my Iweb website. Other than that, I have no idea how to take advantage of MME. My main thing I'd like is to sync my calendar- I'm under impression I can get this to happen automatically? Thanks in advance for pointing me to where I can learn all this.
