Hi,

Looking for a solution will solve my somewhat specific syncing requirements. I've downloaded chronosync but not sure if it'll do what i want. I have four specific requirements. The MBP is a migration from the MB, so both already have almost identical docs/files at the moment.

1) whatever solution needs to work wirelessly, and as automatically as possible. not necessarily that often, or I can trigger it if needed often. Even more ideally if it can sync without needing both macbooks on at the same time (eg to/from my network storage (USB drive attached to time capsule, or time capsule itself), but this may be a stretch target :)

2) Sync documents so either myself (MBP) or wife (MB) can access them. simple two way sync with chronosync of the documents folder, right?

3) sync photos. I can rely on all photos being added to my MBP so only a 1-way sync will be needed. Should I delete the iphoto library from the MB before doing a sync, or will that be fine? Any issues with digging into the package contents? Won't mess up my library at all?

4) itunes. As my wife isn't technically that literate, I'll be ripping all CDs and buying stuff from itunes (she *might* download some stuff from the Japanese store where she has an account, but if necessary for simpler syncing I can do that too).
Our music is all currently stored on the network drive, but I can if needed put it locally on both computers (there is enough space now).
Can I sync the library, so both computers have access to the same music, and see the same music in the collection, but not sync the playlists, as we have separate setups for our ipods.
Also, is it possible to sync just the music library, not the video stuff? My wife only needs to see the music, not the video.

I'm hoping that bidirectional sync on chronosync should be enough for most of this, just want some reassurance/guidance.
How about the library folder? I've excluded that at the moment, but are there things in there worth syncing? contacts? don't need bookmarks particularly.
