iPod Syncing iPod nano with digital camera

I haven't found this answered, so please forgive me if it is.


Can one use the Ipod nano as an external storage device for a digital camera, as the regular iPod can? I mean, can the same special usb cable be used to connect the camera to the nano and copy the pictures?
