Recently my Macbook's hard drive failed and I had to replace it. I restored from Time Machine. I'm now trying to sync my 120 gb iPod classic to iTunes 9.2 for the first time since this has happened. I get a pop up telling me I need to authorize the computer. I click to authorize it, type in my user name and password, and it tells me that this computer is already authorized. I click ok there and it takes me back to the popup telling me I need to authorize the computer. This is an endless cycle. Any ideas?

Rename the machine or goto itunes store and remove authorization.

I tried to Deauthorize and Reauthorize the account. That didn't work. I renamed my computer in system preferences under "share" and that didn't work either. I'm still having the same issue.
