My apologies if this has already been covered, but here's my question. I use "Mail" in my MacBook as my email device. I also use an iPod Touch. If I have the Touch check, receive and send mail -- what does that do to "Mail" on my MacBook? Is there a way to sync the two? In the past, I once used an email reader on two devices, when one downloaded the mail, it deleted it from the server. Hence, it was not downloaded to the other device. I'd like to have the same mail on both. Is this possible?

Any advice is greatly appreciated. By the way, I've had my Touch for almost a week and think it is one of the most amazing devices ever. Replaces a Palm T/X.

Thanks.

You need to be using IMAP and not POP for your e-mail. If you use POP it'll download to your touch and not your Mac, if you use IMAP, it'll store a copy on the server always.
