Syncing issues between MBP and MBA

Hey,

I am using 2 laptops with the same apple id. One is my personal computer, the other is my work computer.
When I open chrome for example, the other laptop will suggest top open the same chrome tab in my doc (see attachment).
The same happens for Mail and some other apps. Is there a way I can turn it off?

It appears to me your talking about the function “Hand off” You could turn that off on one of your computers., some like it for their iPhone and computer.
