Syncing multiple calendars on iPhone to Google Calendar

I've synced my calendar on my iphone with google caldenar, but I have multiple calendars other than my priamry calendar on my iphone that have not synced. Does anyone know how to synce multiple iphone calendars with google calendar? Google show how to sync multiple google calendars with your iphone but not the other way around.

I'm not sure if this is the same but I have 10 calendars in my Gmail account. One for each family member, work calendars for me and my wife, and a calendar for my kids school events. I came from a Galaxy S4 and used a Google calendar for many years even though I own almost everything else Apple (iMac, iPads, etc). Under Settings, Mail/Contacts/Calendars...I just added my Gmail account. All of my calendars appeared in the normal iPhone Calendar app. I also use Calendar 5. It has the same functionality as the stock calendar but has better views. When I make changes on my iPhone calendar it shows up on Google and vice versa. Hope this helps.
