I just updated my iTunes library and went to plug in my new iPhone to put all my music on it and sync it.

iTunes recognizes my iPhone, goes through step 1 of syncing, then my iPhone disappears from my iTunes sidebar. My phone screen says "Sync in Progress" (but it has said that for an hour now...nothing is happening.)

I am running iTunes 10.1.2
I am also running Mac OS X version 10.6.6

Any help is appreciated...I'm starting to give up...:(

What exactly did you do when you "updated" your library?
Would your phone sync before you "updated"?

unplug it, and if it doesnt return to the normal homescreen, hold the sleep and home buttons down until the device reboots.

then try again.

if there are any complications, choose to restore the iphone in itunes.
