I left my 2 year old iPad2 on a plane (bub-bye). I know I already sound like a dumb@$$ but we were evacuated fast for an electrical problem. Anyway no more iPad2.:(

Bought a new iPad4 at a brick & mortar Apple store and connected it to my computer to sync. Ok, so far. Most of my apps were there but not all, and none of my books so I tried accessing the Apple Store on the iPad; no luck. I knew all of the security questions and was told I had changed my password successfully but Apple Store still does not recognize me.

I have 49 updates waiting and want my books back. I was told on another forum that I had to use my old password. I am 64, I don't remember my dog's name!;)

Do you think calling the Apple help number will work for this case?

Bring it to the Apple store where you bought it, they will definitely help you out with anything that you need related to your iPad. :)
